Shoji paper that provides warm and composed atmosphere is essential in Japanese rooms. Japanese wrapping papers are used as high quality papers for wrapping presents. These are also made from KURALON binder fibers.
Rayon fiber used in shoji papers and wrapping papers has no self-adhesiveness, but to make paper, it will be necessary to use something that will bond the fibers together. That’s why the KURALON binder fiber comes into the scene. KURALON binder fiber, which can be used as an adhesive for various fibers, dissolves and forms a film when subjected to "moist", "heat" and "pressure" in the paper-making process, and as a result plays a role of an adhesive bonding matrix fibers.
