It is a splittable short cut staple fiber, featuring Kuraray’s original cross-section shape.
The fiber splits into fine and flat 11 fibers by just dividing.
WRAMP displays various performances depending on how it is used. It can make papers add soft touch, or increase density by contracting the paper mesh.
Specialty papers made from this fiber are used in cosmetics, such as base material for face mask, featuring its soft touch. Its potential use is further expanding and it is now under consideration to use this fiber for filters, featuring its capability of increasing paper density.
